At The Texas Zoo, you will get to see over 100 species of animals that are Texas natives, and other species that you can only find in exotic locations around the planet. A large portion of these animals is comprised of rescued animals that could not be returned to the wild. The Texas Zoo is a nonprofit zoo, which strives to connect people with wildlife from Texas and beyond and be the leading resource for environmental education in Victoria and the surrounding Coastal Bend region. Through authentic learning experiences for broad audiences, The Texas Zoo fosters stewardship and conservation of the natural world.
